We are a new process art studio for kids located in Niantic, CT.
What is process art, anyway? Much like the name implies, it is all about the making and the doing. It is less about the outcome. And what a beautiful way to explore creativity as a kid. Less pressure = more fun!

Current Classes

Art Play class is one hour of sensory and art play. Caregivers attend with their artist. Things can get a little messy so we always say - dress for a mess! Clean up is on us.

Art Club is a fun mix of art play and guided lessons. Invitations to create provide stations for free art exploration that is child-led. Plus, each class has a project instructed by the teacher new building skills, learning about artists and having FUN!

Art Club for the big kids aims to provide freedom of creating without judgement. As our current artists will tell you: there are no mistakes at Doodles! Confidence-building projects are taught within the process art parameters that supports their own authentic creativity. Art Play is also available because big kids need play too.

Want to visit Doodles for some Open Studio time? Select dates are offered to open the space up to your artists’ creativity. They can create something to take home and also explore open ended art activities to stretch their imagination!

JENN
For over 15 years, Jenn has enjoyed working with kids in both a preschool setting back in Long Island as well as in front of her camera as a family photographer for 10+ years.
Hosting a creative space for kids has always been a dream of hers. Now with a small but mighty space located in Niantic, CT, she hopes little ones - big and small - can find inspiration, creativity, connections and most importantly - FUN - while creating!
